Canadian dental care plan

What Is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a new initiative from the Government of Canada aimed at helping individuals and families without private dental insurance get the care they need. The program is designed to reduce out-of-pocket costs and ensure access to essential dental services for eligible Canadians.
Who Is Eligible for CDCP?
You may qualify for coverage under the CDCP if:
You do not have access to private dental insurance
Your annual family income is less than $90,000
You are a Canadian resident and have filed your recent income tax return
Coverage levels vary based on income. Those with lower income may be eligible for full coverage, while others may be required to share a portion of the costs.
What Services Are Covered at Viva Dental Cambridge
The CDCP includes a broad range of preventive and restorative treatments, such as:
Dental exams and cleanings
X-rays
Fillings
Tooth extractions
Root canal treatments
Dentures and other prosthodontic services
Additional services may be added as the program evolves. We’ll help you understand what’s included in your plan at the time of your visit.

How to Enroll
Applications for the CDCP are managed through Health Canada. If you believe you meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply online or by phone. Once you’re approved, you’ll receive details about your coverage and how to book an appointment with a participating dental provider.
